Born in Toulon, France, Frank Lovisolo, composer and sound engineer, lives and works in Aix-en-Provence. Its last work, musics and films, connects its musical compositions (contemporary, musics of films, experimental), with the humane catastrophes of 20th and 21st centuries, at the origin of our History. With White film, it proposes a fiction which installs the spectator in the heart of the mass hysteria in the beginning of the holocaust. To propose to put in form, image and music the catastrophes humane of the twentieth century, it is to lead the spectator to wonder about the stakes of violence resulting from the collective: where let us be us responsible and today could avoid it to us?

In my latest series of works „Can I change my career for a little fun?” from the cycle „The Future Belongs To Us” (which is consisted of paintings and video works) I combine the images / visual samples taken, on one hand, from contemporary fashion magazines (e.g.Vogue Bambini), and on the other hand, images from the very violent cartoon „Happy Tree Friends” (taken from the internet).
In this series of works my intention is to confront two unreal entities:
The first one, which represents the desired picture of the expectations of the adults / the society, and through which the child’s right to be what he or she is (impulsive, unpredictible, free), is taken away from him / her. This first entity is than inserted into the scenography of the second / other entity – the one of the cartoon.
My intention is to make one think through the proces of increased awarnes of the existence of the devious development of the colective consciousnes and the paterns of behaviour, which in the present time, more than ever, intesified through violence, confrontation, war.

This one-man show that took place in the medieval Turkish bath of Plovdiv (Bulgaria) sought to revive the memory of the place by highlighting its key element, i.e. the water – the water in the service of the people, the water that surrounds a paradoxical, publicly established intimacy, the water that creates and enhances links between members of a community.
The water is represented both as real substance and sound. In the first room, there are 21 bowls, containing water and wax and posed in a circular way that reproduces the circular form of the dome. In the other rooms, there is a sound installation, based on the recording of people taking today their shower or bath at their home. The retransmission of these sounds breaks the private character of the contemporary intimate bath to transpose it again at the public sphere, where it once belonged.

becomes the creator’s ally to produce pictural and sonorous shapes.
The scenography is designed for complete immersion of the spectator thanks to
interactive sensors, a multipoint sound diffusion, a video projection system
(180°), within a half spherical membranous architecture.

-- In Catalonia, as in most of Italy, South France and Spain, the traditional Christmas decoration is a large model of the city of Bethlehem, similar to American Nativity scenes that encompasses the entire city rather than just the typical manger scene. The Catalans have added an extra character that is not found in the manger scenes of any other culture.This extra little character is often tucked away in some corner of the model, typically nowhere near the manger scene, where he is not easily noticed. There is a good reason for his obscure position in the display, for "caganer" translates from Catalan to English as "defecator", and that is exactly what this little statue is doing — defecating.
BUT in this work Caganer is defecating DYNAMITE!!

O vídeo proposto é um desdobramento do trabalho intitulado “caixa de mensagens”, apresentado na coletiva do ESPAÇO SESC Copacabana - em 2004 no Rio de Janeiro.
O público foi convidado a deixar uma mensagem em uma caixa -urna. Depois de coletadas, as mensagens foram selecionadas, gravadas e editadas no áudio-vídeo [dialog box] .
Em lovebox_project, a caixa de mensagens se transforma em um reverberador virtual – um centro gerador de mensagens para o Mundo - seu retroalimentador.

La vidéo montre la facilité que la publicité a de se coller aux individus et de les séduire jusqu'à en arriver à les dépersonnaliser et leur faire oublier leur identité. Un corps qui a besoin d'être couvert de produits de marque pour pouvoir illusoirement s'affirmer et être accepté par la société qu'il côtoie. Renoncer à ce que l'on est pour être ce que les autres voudraient que l'on soit au point de reconstruire sur notre propre corps, sur notre propre soi, un autre, qui au fil du temps va s'approprier entièrement de nous. Un être humain, prisonnier d'une pensée étrangère, séduisante et raffinée mais qui peut exploser d'un moment à l'autre. Cela en vaut il la peine ? Est ce mieux de vivre sa propre vie dans le mensonge ou accepter la vérité, même si, parfois elle peut sembler cruelle ?
S'asperger de déodorisant, c'est croire pouvoir atteindre une séduction et devenir ainsi attirant et irrésistible aux yeux de la femme de nos rêves, une femme aussi manipulée par la publicité et désormais qui ne pourra rien aimer d'autre que ce qui lui aura été suggéré.
